Team Americano is a league format with fixed teams (meaning players compete with the same teammates throughout the entire tournament), but the scoring is like in Cup Americano. If a padel match ends 17-15, the players in the home team receive 17 points and the players in the away team get 15 points. The points are tallied from the matches and compiled into a table. The Team Americano format can accommodate up to 5 groups with a maximum of 38 players (19 teams) per group. In total, there can be up to 190 players per tournament.
